CONGRATULATIONS 911 ANGELS, Our team has qualified for the "Keeping the Memories Alive" Team Package.

In all 212 registered SF Avon Walk Teams, The 911 Angels have again risen to the top as the 3rd highest ranking team for most money raised. Having raised nearly $38,000 so far this year and nearly $250,000 since 2002, our team is CERTAINLY In It To End It. For our amazing recruitment efforts, we have qualified for a few exclusive Avon Walk mementos along with some special recognition that our team will remember forever! It is a simple thank you from Avon for all of our hard work.

The "Keeping The Memories Alive" Team Package includes:

- Team Photo - taken by an official Avon Walk photographer. All team members will receive a copy of this photo at closing ceremonies.

- Team "Meet Up" sign: Our team sign is in the process of being made and it will be big and bold - perfect for gathering at Opening or walking triumphantly into Closing Ceremonies or for photo's at the Wellness Village on Saturday afternoon.

Team Postcards: Team Captain will receive 100 special team postcards proudly displaying your team photo. These custom team postcards are an ideal way to send a meaningful message of thanks to your donors or for recruitment in 2012!

2011 Team

Introducing the 2011 911 Angels!!

With only weeks away from the SF Avon Walk, this amazing team of Angels have spent many hours fundraising in the fight against breast cancer. So far this year we have raised $36,000 and have landed 3rd highest ranking SF team for most money raised. Still training in preparation for our 2 day, 39 mile walk, fundraising continues ... Each of our team members made a commitment to raise at least $1,800.00 and many of us have bypassed that goal by far. However, there are still a few walkers still needing donations. if you have not yet donated to the cause, please consider helping one of our team mates out. We still have more to raise!!!!

The 1st 21 pictured are actual walking Angels. The last row of Angels are our VERY IMPORTANT crew and support team that spend the weekend cheering us on every step of the way. They are what keeps us motivated during our very long journey and we simply could not do it without them!!!!!

It's been a busy time for us all and the walk is fast approaching. Let's use this time to introduce and welcome our new team members. I know they have many questions, some concerns and fears that some of us have experienced in past. Seasoned walkers can offer advice and tips from past experience that is sure to be invaluable. Please come share your stories!!! :)

We will be ordering team gear at this meeting (walking tees) and discussing training, fundraising and last minute logistics for the weekend. But most importantly we want to get together for some team bonding !!!!

This will be potluck style so please bring a favorite dish to share!
