October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I know, It's the calm before the storm and before we know it, we will be smack dab in the middle of the Holiday season.  Don't forget that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Use this opportunity to email your friends and family to remind them the importance of self exams and mammograms!  And while you're at it, tell them the wonderful news about the brave commitment you have personally made to make a difference in the face of breast cancer.

Start soliciting for donations now, it's never to early to start.  So, do it in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month and for all the reasons why this cause is so near and dear to your heart.

Good Luck, Angels.

Love, Tara

Welcome 2008 Angels !!

Since 2002, the 911 Angels have walked an accumulative amount of 1,038 miles, raising over $65,000.00 in the fight against breast cancer.

We all know that there's strength in numbers, so we've banded together to show the world just how important it is to put an end to the suffering caused by breast cancer. Everyone on this team has a reason for doing this event - whether they've personally fought breast cancer, have lost a loved one, or simply care deeply about this cause.

We've made a big commitment. To participate in the Avon Walk, we're going to spend months training to prepare for an entire weekend's walk. Each one of us has to raise at least $1,800 in donations. But we're in this together, and as a team we will support each other every step of the way.

This site was created for the team members to keep in touch, during our fundraising, training and planning stages.

Thank you for being an Angel !!!
